Congratulations to Stephanie! Your book has been tweeted, shared on Pinterest, added to my Goodreads TBR for the event, and shared on Facebook.

PITCH your book in the comments. Put the LINK to your book in the Rafflecopter form. Tell me why you think I'll like it, why I should check it out, and a little about the story. DO NOT give me a synopsis. I can get that from Amazon. Make it personal or make it funny. I care not. I'll be grabbing a sample of every book pitched and go from there.

AUTHOR ONLY entries will be removed from Rafflecopter before a winner is chosen. If you want a shot at winning the prizes, put BOTH in the box asking how you're entering.

I strongly encourage you to check out the works of your fellow Indie authors. Chat in the comments, talk each other up, make friends!
Book reviewers! You're welcome to play along, too! Meet and greet authors. Get new books to read and review. It only works if we all work together.

If you haven't joined my 2015 Review Team, do that here

**Kindly remember, there's no guarantee your book will be reviewed by me. You will get a purchase if your sample interests me, and I'll try my best to read it. But if I find I can't give it more than 2 stars, I won't write the review. I've had a few I couldn't finish and it led to me not giving a review.**

Now it's time to announce the winners from yesterday's giveaway!

  1. Can you save someone from themselves one word at a time? Dry Stories is a collection of attempts to do just that. In the depths of alcoholism, recovery needs all the hope, all the narrative and all the very best words.

  2. Shadows will do anything to become human. You see their influence everyday. You say things you don’t mean or do things that aren’t like you. You look, different. Friends you’ve known forever suddenly never call. Roxie thought she knew her boyfriend Drew, but she didn't even know herself. What if you discovered your life was a lie? Who would you trust? Would you even notice the shadows are coming for you? Would you care about saving the world...Shadow Slayer, book 2, the Shadow Series

  3. "Jo, hey, Jami here. I decided to jump in and put in my two cents. You see Miranda is obsessing over this 12 days of review requests you have going on and I think it's a great idea. But because she keeps checking to see what new books are added, then 1 clicking and reading samples she doesn't have time to really listen to ME and I am so ready to get on with my story. Book 1 is only the beginning, there is so much more to tell. You don't want to miss it, pick it up get to know me and my unusual life and friends, my blushworthy highlander and the craziness that has become my life. Pick my story so I can get Miranda back on track please. She is so easily distracted....squirrel... I will thank you in advance doll."

  4. I suffered unspeakable abuse as a child. Two things saved me from becoming the monster I feared so much: books and my belief in Guardian Angels. With over 6 million children being abused in the US each year, whatever we're doing isn't enough. I decided to write a fantasy about a young girl who is the role model I always wanted to be. She jumps in to help winged creatures from another dimension to protect the children of Earth from bullying and abuse. I worked with a child counselor, Catherine Gruener, to develop a two-page discussion sheet on my website free for parents to help them use the characters to have the tougher discussions with their children. I firmly believe that if anyone had ever asked me if I were being hurt, I'd have told the truth. The book is a free download on my website for children through the end of December. My gift to the kids who are most at risk. The discussion sheet is on the Books tab http://peggymcaloon.com

  5. Hi, Jo! Sounds like we have quite a bit in common. I'm a designer/indie author too. My first book, THE PLACE OF VOICES, has something for everyone and is appropriate for just about any reader. It's a clean read and edgy without being too much so (think warm fuzzy meets dark twisty). If you're intrigued by time travel and unusual bits of history with meaningful story, my book should draw you in. Book two in the series releases this week. Love your ideas and energy...
    Warm regards, Lauren Lynch

    1. First off, Lauren, thanks for the compliment and hello! *waves* Nice to meet someone who's in the same boat as I am. Design school was a beast, eh? Lol! Now, about this novel! Well, I like anything different. Time travel books are hit or miss with me, so I'm eager to check out your work, and I appreciate you taking the time to stop over and pitch it. Please, by all means, introduce yourself around and make some friends while you're here. I've been buried in samples alllll day today :) But, I'm getting things sorted out. Welcome to the madness!

  6. Hi, Jo. Since I had so much fun writing FATAL FIRE, I figure you'll have just as much fun reading it. Plus, my boyfriend told me this is my best work yet (although he might be biased since the book is dedicated to him). The story combines mystery and humor as Amy Wagner looks into her sister Gina's suspicious death. Along the way, Amy partners with Gina's colleague, who might be on the verge of becoming the next murder victim unless Amy can figure out what's going on in time.

    1. Howdy, Marla! Boyfriends (and husbands) can be like that, huh? Hold on to him, the supportive ones are difficult to come by ;) That being said, I'm very much looking forward to checking out your novel! Murder is right up my alley (as a reading genre, of course). Lol! Thanks for the awesome pitch and welcome to the fray :)

    2. Yup, I'm lucky that my boyfriend actually likes to read. His eyes glaze over when I start talking about the writing process, but if they were too perfect we'd worry about them, right? Thanks for the warm welcome. I think your "12 Days of Review Requests" idea is awesome, and I look forward to checking out the other books!

  7. Dream Stealers are everywhere. You probably know one. They suck your dreams dry and leave you with the husk.Yeah. Nobody likes Dream Stealers.

What would you do if you had to be one...or risk losing what mattered most?

  8. Chocolate Couture is a sweet but sensual blend of chocolate and romance. My heroine has found an art form that lets her express herself and make others happy at the same time. I like to think that writers do that all the time. We write to entertain and move our readers. The hardest part of writing this book was resisting all those chocolate urges.

  9. What is hikertrash? Is it garbage on the trail or those filthy, smelly hobos you see at trailheads? I'm proud to admit that we are the latter! Wait, what? You're proud of that? Yes. Yes I am. Hell, I walked 2,283 miles to earn earn the right to that name!
With all the media attention focused on the Pacific Crest Trail due to the success of "Wild" a lot of people are wondering what day-to-day life on the PCT is really like. Where do you shower? Where's the toilet? Does everyone get their live's together on the trail? What is it like to be mistaken as homeless in every town between Mexico and Canada? "Hikertrash: Life on the Pacific Crest Trail" answers all of these riveting questions and then some!
There were no "ah-ha" moments, no magical answers to all life's problems. This isn't a story of personal growth. This is the humorous story of what it's like to be hikertrash!
