Congratulations to Suzanna Lynn! Your book has been tweeted, shared on Pinterest, added to my Goodreads TBR for the event, and shared on Facebook.

PITCH your book in the comments. Put your LINK in the Rafflecopter entry form. Tell me why you think I'll like it, why I should check it out, and a little about the story. DO NOT give me a synopsis. I can get that from Amazon. Make it personal or make it funny. I care not. I'll be grabbing a sample of every book pitched and go from there.

Please specify if you're entering as an author, a reader, or both. Author only entries will be removed before a winner is chosen.

IF you have a pre-order, please upload a SAMPLE to Google Drive and give people with the link permission to view. Put that link in the Rafflecopter form.

I strongly encourage you to check out the works of your fellow Indie authors. Chat in the comments, talk each other up, make friends!

Book reviewers! You're welcome to play along, too! Meet and greet authors. Get new books to read and review. It only works if we all work together.

**Kindly remember, there's no guarantee your book will be reviewed by me. You will get a purchase if your sample interests me, and I'll try my best to read it. But if I find I can't give it more than 2 stars, I won't write the review. I've had a few I couldn't finish and it led to me not giving a review.**

Now it's time to announce the winners from Friday's giveaway!

  1. Hi, Jo.
Today I want to pitch book three in my Harper Falls series. If You Only Knew is a book about first love, betrayal, and second chances. Throw in a would be murder, an evil, manipulative mother and you have If You Only Knew. Forgiveness isn't always about the other person. Sometimes if you can bring yourself to let go of your hate and resentment, it makes your life better. In this book Tyler is tired of being angry all the time. That is what starts to open her heart again. The friendships with her best friends and the understanding she reaches with her mother makes for some strong, emotional reading.
    Thanks again for the chance.

  2. Hey Jo,

today I am pitching my Chasing Clarity YA. This story is not just about grief it is more than that. It is about Mia Gerard and what happens to her when she loses the love of her life and the choices she makes for herself in order to keep on going. She is a very talented dancer who has been given the chance to leave Ann Arbor Michigan for an opportunity to attend the New York Dance Academy of Performing Arts. Will she take this chance to rebuild her life? Will she remain lost in her grief? I really enjoyed working on this book and I hope you will give it a read.

Thank you so much Tara Benham and Mindy Ruiz for today's amazing giveaways!

    thanks JO!

  3. Hi Jo!

Thank you so much for doing this! I only have one book to pitch, and so I'll pitch it again today...but with more energy :-)

Eerie tells the story of an 18-year-old Irish dancer who travels to the world's premier parascience university in Alaska. She's got to tear the barrier separating this world and the afterlife or fall prey to a creature that would tear her apart. Her problem: the only creature powerful enough to help her has fallen "madly" in love with her. And if she's not careful, he might just kill her himself.

Author Brenda Drake had this to say: "EERIE, full of voice and romance, is a thrilling and beautifully crafted story that had me up late, racing through the pages to get to the end."

Thank you so much and have a happy week!

  4. Hello Jo,

I am going to re-pitch the Clear Angel Chronicles, as the third book will be coming out this year!

Clear Angel is an amazing character! I have been impressed by how well people relate to her, despite the fact that she is a genius psychic (Both of which aren't typically relatable to the average person on the street!)
I think people relate because deep down we all feel insecure, no matter how others may see us.
We all have felt like an island, not sure how others see us, afraid of the things that make us unique, and burdened by our own "weaknesses".
We have all struggled, some of us still struggling, to make the right choice in a murky world where it isn't always easy to know what is right.
We all have to weigh the good of the many versus what is good for us.

She is a wonderful mirror to reflect the struggles we face, and seeing her face those struggles magnified and survive gives us hope that we can do the same.

I am looking forward to seeing all the other books that get posted. It makes it super easy to fill in my review calendar! Thanks so much for doing this wonderful event again!

I love that you're filling your review TBR :) There are so many excellent books on that list already, I'm not sure what I'll do. I keep telling myself I will ONLY buy 12. 5. Happy Monday!
What did you wish for as a child? Doll? Basketball? Peace on Earth? What if your wish wasn't an item but a personal and emotional appeal to be yourself? Winter Wishes is an inspiring holiday short story that takes a humorous but respectful look at holding back who a person truly is and breaking through that wall of self-protection. Includes one maniac of a driver aunt, a man who's pushed into being a Santa (a sexy one at that), and a little girl who changes a Grinchy heart by asking Santa if he needs to pee. This is a male/male sweet romance and I'd love for you to experience a little of my take on the holiday spirit. A lunch read that might inspire you, too! Happy holidays! <3 Jules

  7. Hi, Jo!

This is such a wonderful idea. Thank you for the opportunity.

I would like to introduce you to Avelynn, my debut historical romance. Avelynn lives in 869, Anglo-Saxon, England, and the odds are stacked against her. She's independent and passionate in a patriarchal society. She’s secretly pagan in a world dominated by the Catholic Church. And she’s in love with Alrik, a Viking jarl, in a time when Vikings are the very scourge of England.

Avelynn doesn’t take kindly to being told what to do, and her need to fight for what she believes in pits her against powerful men and their ruthless ambitions. Her determination and grit will bring her face-to-face with heartache, betrayal, and loss. Rather than weaken her, these trials make her stronger. No matter the cost, she is determined to follow her heart.

    In gratitude,
    Marissa xo

  8. Hi Jo! Hope you're enjoying the month so far. It's slowly getting colder here and here in Ohio...which makes me sad. :P

I am pitching "A Woman's Affair" which is a story pretty close to my heart. I like pushing buttons and I thought, what would people think about a book that directly deals with cheating and even admits it in the blurb? What if the hero of the story is a man ten years younger than the heroine and he's also her daughter's teacher? It deals with a hidden issue you don't see at first, but really goes to show that sometimes, what's going on behind close doors isn't obvious at all except for those who know what to look for. I believe the main character, Leighton, is someone many women can empathize and root for.

Just wanted to say, I'm so glad to be here for another year! I think this is my 3rd year now. Now I'm off to check out the other entries so far. <3 Violet

    1. Heya, Violet! Good to see you again :) I like pushing buttons, too. LOL! I think that blurb could go both ways, right? Well, if you're honest, you'll own up to the fact that these things happen. :) I'm glad to see someone with the chops to write about it and not be afraid. Well done. I can't wait to dive in :) Thanks for coming back. I hope you enjoy all the books in the list (some really great ones in there)!

  9. Hi Jo! This is my first year pitching to you, and I'm both excited and nervous, but probably a bit more of the latter. :)
    Here goes...

    Rags to riches? Nope.

    Instalove? Not going to happen.

Damsel-in-distress waiting to be rescued? No way.

In Curse of the Sphinx, Greek gods still rule, monsters are cursed half-breeds hunted to near extinction, and demigods walk among the general population either hiding from or hunting Skia (shadow demons from the Underworld).
All seventeen year-old Hope Nicholas wants is a normal life, to stay in one place, make friends, and maybe one day go on a date. Instead, with her mom, she’s on the run, under constant pressure to hide who and what she really is (a sphinx). When her loving and overprotective mother is killed, Hope is forced to grow up- fast.
Faced with challenges of the body (great fight scenes), the mind (who’s hunting her and why), and the heart (can she really trust the enigmatic and sexy Athan Michael), action, suspense, and romance fill the pages in the initial installment of the Sphinx series.

It's showing my comment as "unknown (google)" so I just want to make sure you know, I'm Rachel (Raye) Wagner. Thanks Jo!

Great cover! :) Thanks for joining the party, and good luck! :)

  10. Hi Jo,

Love that you do this every year!

I'm pitching my second YA novel, The Wrong Fairy Tale. You reviewed the first book, titled Feast Island, but now fully revamped and titled Spirit Lake. I thought you might like to read the next installment. :)

In the Wrong Fairy Tale, Alex and her high school friends return to the planet Cantelia, where, in their first journey, they were surprised to find out that they're part of an ancient prophecy. No pressure for just a bunch of teenagers, right?

Though the teens are more prepared this time, every turn on their adventure brings something unexpected: poisonous water creatures, a shady queen, weird food, and a forest monster that makes the Yeti look like a kitten.

In order to go home, the kids have to figure out why the people in the Alfaran Forest are disappearing...and who's behind it. And, the more they uncover, the more they begin to realize that their lives are in just as much danger as those disappearing.

    Thanks so much, Jo!

  11. Hi Jo!

This is such a great thing you do every year! And I actually have a book to pitch this year! But man I so should've not started browsing books after 11pm when I gotta be up early to take my kids to school! So many good books being pitched on here! K. Enough rambling. My book.

It's called Lasera ~ Book One of the Mer Archives.

Teenage diving board champion Valerie is saved from drowning. But then thinks she's gone bat-crazy insane because when she returns to the pool, there's a merman swimming in it, and no one else can see him! Craziness and many happenings ensue. 1. She's not crazy, merman is real. 2. Merman is shy but from one dang amazing world. 3. How to free merman? 4. Why do his captors keep him locked up in pool surrounded by humans?

I think you'd like this story, because it's different from a lot of paranormal/urban fantasy because the main character isn't discovering she is 'something' as in not human. And there's actually no possibility of becoming a mermaid. Plus yeah, mermen, just plain awesome! :D

Hope you enjoy! I sure loved writing it

    Cheers
