  1. Yay! Thanks for another great giveaway, Jo! Just liked your page (surprised I forgot to earlier, oops). You know that I'm a huge reader and it's certainly for escapism. Life is stressful enough that I look forward to unwinding with a good book and a glass of wine at bed.

  2. My favorite thing about reading is how many different adventures you can have and how many lifetimes you can live just while sitting in your living room :)

  3. So excited for the poster. I will display it proudly! Liked your page (love the b&w photo, very "Katherine Hepburn".

I read to learn more about my craft these days, but my love of reading started when I was very young. Back then, I wanted an escape, still do. I like experiencing different worlds, relationships, stories, etc.

Off to spread the word about today's prize!

    1. How does that relate to e-books? Do you get the same feeling? I, for one, love the smell of paper and ink :)

  5. I just liked you on amazon. What I love about reading is the escape. Even if you day is crazy, hectic, stressful, tiring, whatever, you can forget about all that when you dive into a great book.

    1. Thank you, Shannon! Welcome to the blog. Seems everyone loves to escape in a book if they're a reader. A book does, indeed, give you the chance to relieve stress. Awesome! Hope to see you back! :)

  6. "Liked" your author page on Amazon :) What I like most about reading is escaping into another world. I mostly read YA fantasy these days, and of course, my imagination can soar while reading those books. But any genre can grab on to me and hold tight, pulling me into another world for a few hours (or more).

    1. Thanks, Andrea! YA is an excellent genre. It's exciting to see what the youth of the world can accomplish when put to the task :)

  7. I had already liked your Amazon author page. :)

I love the way reading a good book pulls me into another world and I can lose myself for ages in action, adventure and magic. I have a wonderful life, but even so, it's fun to change things up and exist in another world for the length of a good book.

    1. That's because you rock, Becks! Changing things up can sometimes show us what we have and what we COULD be missing, huh? Thanks for sharing, hon!

  8. OK, now that I gave my belated review, which I should have done before, I will try to say what I like about reading. My problem is picking the thing I like MOST. I love to read. I love to disappear into other worlds when I need a break. I love to hunt through facts when my mind is hungry. I love to catch up on current events when I feel out of touch... Need I say more?

    1. Nope. Nary a word more. :) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REVIEW!!!!!!! I'M BOUNCING IN MY SEAT (and using all caps for emphasis). I'm so glad you loved the book :)
