Congratulations to Rachel! Your book has been tweeted, shared on Pinterest, added to my Goodreads TBR for the event, and shared on Facebook.

Congratulations to Violet! Your book has been tweeted, shared on Pinterest, added to my Goodreads TBR for the event, and shared on Facebook.

PITCH your book in the comments. Put the LINK to your book in the Rafflecopter form. Tell me why you think I'll like it, why I should check it out, and a little about the story. DO NOT give me a synopsis. I can get that from Amazon. Make it personal or make it funny. I care not. I'll be grabbing a sample of every book pitched and go from there.

AUTHOR ONLY entries will be removed from Rafflecopter before a winner is chosen. If you want a shot at winning the prizes, put BOTH in the box asking how you're entering.

I strongly encourage you to check out the works of your fellow Indie authors. Chat in the comments, talk each other up, make friends!
Book reviewers! You're welcome to play along, too! Meet and greet authors. Get new books to read and review. It only works if we all work together.

If you haven't joined my 2015 Review Team, do that here

**Kindly remember, there's no guarantee your book will be reviewed by me. You will get a purchase if your sample interests me, and I'll try my best to read it. But if I find I can't give it more than 2 stars, I won't write the review. I've had a few I couldn't finish and it led to me not giving a review.**

Now it's time to announce the winners from yesterday's giveaway!

Up for grabs today are prizes donated by Kelly Risser and me.

Good luck to you all!

Well, that's all for today, folks! Until next time, WRITE ON!

  1. "Dry Stories" is about saving a beloved friend from the clutches of alcoholism one story at a time. There are no elves or fairies to help out, no knight in shining armour appears and special forces do not invade. Instead, those moments of terrible pain that define our lives become moments of strength that define our futures. We don't stop drinking "one day at a time," we do it one word at a time.

  3. The Artist's Inheritance is the first volume in my paranormal series Antique Magic. The story centers around Caitlin, a budding witch, who is forced to sit by and watch as imps, ghosts, and an old family curse slowly drive her husband insane. She's not content with what the gods have decreed for her, who would be? Wouldn't you fight to save the one you loved--whatever it took?

  5. In Seeking a Scribe: Enchanted Bookstore Legend One, Lyra McCauley is a writer and loves fantasy novels, but until she opens a selection from bookstore owner Cullen Drake, she has no idea he's a wizard character who lives a double life inside that volume…or that the story's magic will compel her from the edge of depression to adventure, danger, and love. Attraction sparks, but Lyra doubts whether a wizard is capable of love. She's torn—should she protect her fragile heart or risk new love? Opening the book, she faces a quest: save the magical land of Dragonspeir from destruction by the Black Dragon before he overthrows the opposing Imperial Dragon. Lyra accepts the challenge, fearing Cullen will perish if evil wins. Along with magical animal guides, Cullen helps her through many perils, but ultimately Lyra must use her own power…and time is running out.

  7. Happy Tuesday, Jo! I haven't been keeping up with the daily pitches but I'm here today so here I go pitching.

Meet Jackie and Sean, complete strangers who find themselves in New Jersey's famous Atlantic City (Mini Vegas) together. While Jackie frequently visits Mini Vegas on gambling trips, it was a weekend getaway for Sean and his first visit. Needless to say, they instantly fall for one another the moment they set eyes on each other. These two would go on to have a great time together, an unforgettable experience that gave their visits to Atlantic City well worth it. Enter Mini Vegas!

    1. Hiya, Peprah! It's okay. Life happens :) Mini Vegas? I've never heard it called that! Better pitch today. Thanks for coming back around.

  8. I love the idea and implementation of this, Jo. Kudos!

Pitch for my new steampunk fantasy novel Hopebreaker:

When Hope is a drug and humanity is dying out, smuggler Jacob gets caught up in a cause he doesn't believe in: ending the rule of the repressive Regime. He is motivated by money, but circumstances force him to re-evaluate what he should be doing, and why he should be doing it.

Expect film noir-esque dialogue, fast-paced action, steampunk vehicles, and varied characters forced together for a desperate mission.

    1. Thank you, Dean. I spend the whole year planning it, and thinking about what I could add to make it a more rounded (and easier) experience for those involved. I'm glad you're enjoying the fun! I like the mix of film noir in there. Great pitch! So looking forward to this sample! Welcome to the blog, and have some fun while you're here :)
