PITCH your book in the comments. Put the LINK to your book in the Rafflecopter form. Tell me why you think I'll like it, why I should check it out, and a little about the story. DO NOT give me a synopsis. I can get that from Amazon. Make it personal or make it funny. I care not. I'll be grabbing a sample of every book pitched and go from there.

AUTHOR ONLY entries will be removed from Rafflecopter before a winner is chosen. If you want a shot at winning the prizes, put BOTH in the box asking how you're entering.

I strongly encourage you to check out the works of your fellow Indie authors. Chat in the comments, talk each other up, make friends!

Book reviewers! You're welcome to play along, too! Meet and greet authors. Get new books to read and review. It only works if we all work together.

If you haven't joined my 2015 Review Team, do that here

**Kindly remember, there's no guarantee your book will be reviewed by me. You will get a purchase if your sample interests me, and I'll try my best to read it. But if I find I can't give it more than 2 stars, I won't write the review. I've had a few I couldn't finish and it led to me not giving a review.**

Now it's time to announce the winners from yesterday's giveaway!

  1. Jo, I wasn't able to access Julie's Twitter from the Rafflecopter link. It might be my computer but I wanted to mention it just in case.

    1. The sample made me cry, if that's any indication. I saw it coming and I still lost it. :) I can't wait to read the whole thing. LOL! Thanks for popping in, Heather :)

  3. Dry Stories is about saving a friend from alcoholism not one day at a time, but one story at a time. The blessing of imagination is a responsibility to be shared. The telling of stories is not a luxury, but a necessity that dictates devotion in friendship and loyalty in love. These are the rules of life that dominate the stories in this collection.

  4. Hi Jo, I think Charlotte's Twitter name is actually @charlotte_abel. The one in the Rafflecopter box looks like it belongs to a different person. Thanks, :)

  6. "The Lady of Souls" is a steam-era fantasy adventure with a feminist bend. You should read it if you like stories where woman play important and complicated roles. You should read it if you like casts with diversity. You should read it if you like people plunging headfirst into madcap adventures, racing across the country in steam trains, and facing high-stakes consequences. You should read it if you like snark, mixed with yearning, mixed with darkness, mixed with haunted pickle jars. It is the first of six books in its series, so if you read it and you like it, there will be plenty more to come!

    1. To be fair, it's really just the ONE pickle jar. But yes, it's really in there, used for comedic purposes.

    2. Yummmmm! Another steampunk novel! I'm all over this one! Thanks for the pitch, Jenn! Awesome. I do like casts with diversity. Know what my favorite thing is? Strong female leads! :) Besides, who could say no to a haunted pickle jar? :D Welcome to the crazy!

  7. Jo, I must first apologize for Jami's outburst the other day. She can really be a pain when I let her out to play. Though you seemed to enjoy her little pitch, if you liked that then you must pick up Destiny, because there is more where that came from! What girl wouldn't want a high end department store brought to them? Add in a gay best friend to help dress you, yup that happens in Destiny. Throw in time travel, earth magic and sexy Highlanders and you have a read you can't put down once you start, or so I am told. Give it a chance, you won't regret it!

    1. I do love your sample, Miranda. All good on Jami's outburst :) I understand completely. LOL! I seem to have a huge TBR now and will probably end up announcing more than two winners on day 12 and in the final list. Keep your eyes peeled ;)

  8. Dragonfire is something a little different, a blend of SF, Fantasy and Thriller.
Dragonfire is the name of a very real virtual reality fantasy game. For the players there are unlimited possibilities, but some play the game for keeps. The reader travels from this world to the world of Dragonfire and, right at the end, back again. This is really short, just a little over 3 000 words - and that's after revising the original version which was just 2.5k! I'm pitching it here because reader feedback is that they want more, and I'm now planning a much more substantial book in the same setting. This one is perma-free, so if you'd like a taste, help yourselves, and you'll know if you're interested when the follow-up comes out.

    1. This could be interesting. Kind of like Ready Player One, which is one of my favorite books. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. They're pursuing Christopher Nolan for the movie version, which would be awwwwesome.

    2. I like short stories, David! I think they have a huge place on the marketing side of things :) I grabbed it, waiting to see if I add it to the pile after I read a bit! Thanks for the pitch. My eyeballs are so tired. LOL
