PITCH your book in the comments. Put your LINK in the Rafflecopter entry form. Tell me why you think I'll like it, why I should check it out, and a little about the story. DO NOT give me a synopsis. I can get that from Amazon. Make it personal or make it funny. I care not. I'll be grabbing a sample of every book pitched and go from there.

Please specify if you're entering as an author, a reader, or both. Author only entries will be removed before a winner is chosen.

IF you have a pre-order, please upload a SAMPLE to Google Drive and give people with the link permission to view. Put that link in the Rafflecopter form.

I strongly encourage you to check out the works of your fellow Indie authors. Chat in the comments, talk each other up, make friends!

Book reviewers! You're welcome to play along, too! Meet and greet authors. Get new books to read and review. It only works if we all work together.

If you haven't joined my 2015 Review Team, do that here

**Kindly remember, there's no guarantee your book will be reviewed by me. You will get a purchase if your sample interests me, and I'll try my best to read it. But if I find I can't give it more than 2 stars, I won't write the review. I've had a few I couldn't finish and it led to me not giving a review.**

Now it's time to announce the winners from yesterday's giveaway!

  1. A one night stand at a college party changed the course of Samantha's life. Three years later, she's going to school, working, and raising her two-year old daughter alone. Still carrying baby weight, and dealing with constant stress, the last thing Sam feels is sexy.
She meets Judd in a bar one night. A baseball player on scholarship and obvious player, Sam blows Judd off, figuring they have nothing in common. But when Judd's pursuit of her makes her feel like a young, sexy woman, for the first time in ages, she decides to see how the other half lives, just for a while, and doesn't tell Judd about her "situation".
When he finds out the truth, will he still view Sam the same way, and if he does, can two people at different stages in their lives find a way to make things work?

  2. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my work with you. I would love for you to choose my book and meet Angelo and the gang. My debut novel In Dreams is a Paranormal Mystery that throws the reader into a world full of twist and turns, death, and most importantly closure. Hope Copper is viciously murdered and Angelo Baldoni is given the case. When Hope jumps into Angelo's dreams she begins to relive her death and leads Angelo down a path he is not ready to go down yet. As a reader you are drawn into their lives and hope that things work out. This edge of your seat read will have you screaming at your kindle and begging for more! Thank you again for this chance and I hope that you enjoy Angelo as much as I have enjoyed writing him.

  3. The beast is already inside of him - but can he keep it from taking control? Zosimos was consumed by an overwhelming desire for power and was transformed into an embodiment of evil. Only his mother could accept him for what he was, but she couldn’t keep the villagers from driving him off into the forest. For ten years. Zos was alone with his inner turmoil, letting his emotions seethe in the evil that had taken hold of him. As he grew from a ten-year old boy to a young man, his malice toward the town of Frey grew. Back in the village the myth of the beast’s existence built up until the villagers were convinced that the only thing that could hold the beast at bay was a yearly human sacrifice.

Every year the sacrifice disappeared in the forest, but Zos never saw any of them. This year he happened upon the sacrifice, and she was in trouble. His human nature overpowered the beast inside and Zos saved the young girl from her fate, but now he can’t let her go. Unable to return to the village, she will come to know the young man who is her captor. Zos grew up with thoughts of revenge, but when he is close to her he is reminded of who he used to be and who he could become.

From once upon a time to happily ever after, At One’s Beast highlights the struggles of two young adolescents who have fallen prey to chance evil circumstances. Will Zos be able to control the beast inside? The people of Frey will have to rally together to rid the town of evil once and for all, but in the process will they destroy everything that is good in their world?

  4. To Get Me To You is a contemporary romance David vs. Goliath story with a side of sweet tea.

Councilman Campbell Crawford is a man on a mission--save his hometown's dying economy while retaining the small town charm that has defined Wishful for decades. When a Big Box store shows up wanting to build, Cam knows they aren't the answer. Determined to go to the mattresses against them, he forms an unlikely alliance with award-winning marketing exec Norah Burke. Romance sparks between them as they fight to convince the town that there are other forms of salvation that will retain Wishful's unique character. Can Cam make the town see GrandGoods for the threat it is? And will Norah be willing to give up her corner office and power lunches in order to stay once the fight is over?

  6. Eleven-year-old Drew Montgomery has not, does not, and will not ever want a stupid old rabbit. All they do is sit in their cages, eat carrots, and poop. Then his annoying little sister blackmails him into hiding a bunny in his closet. She knows what really happened to his "stolen" bike and she's threatening to tell. Now Drew’s in a real jam. If his "No pets!" parents find the rabbit or, worse, his sister blabs the truth, he'll be grounded till grade seven for sure.

And if that’s not enough trouble, two girls at school drag him into a prank war that goes from bad to worse--and it's all the rabbit’s fault. Plus, the weirdest girl in his class wants to be his science partner. If she tells him she wants to be his girlfriend, he just knows he’s gonna die.

Drew must find a way to outwit the mean girls, wiggle out of the blackmail deal, and get rid of the rabbit before it destroys his bedroom and his life.

The Rabbit Ate My Homework is a contemporary humorous middle grade novel which will appeal to kids and adults (who still remember being kids) alike.

  8. “Now and then a wish takes on a life of its own.” Despite the dark, warning tone in her voice and locked-on-target stare, Desiree seemed almost elated. “Once a wish has started, there’s no stopping it. No matter what happens, no matter what path things head down, I cannot stop it.”

I shivered again and suddenly felt very exposed.

“Also, I cannot, under any circumstances, interfere with the course of the wish. Even if this turns out to be one of those wishes that take the wrong branch, you have no choice; you’ll have to follow it to the end.”

What really happens when you get what you wished for?

For Mandy it means accidentally bringing her imaginary childhood friend to life only to have her try and steal everything that’s important to her. Add to that a hippie-genie with an attitude problem and “be careful what you wish for” takes on a whole new twist!

  9. Here is the pitch for my second novel, SIR LYLE'S DIG:

Quarter Finalist--2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award!

    SIR LYLE’S DIG
In 1950, explorer Sir Lyle Ashford wrote a famous letter to the Times of London in which he boasted of finding “…a bigger cache of treasures in Egypt than existed in King Tut’s tomb.” Two problems; Ashford was known to lie about sites and secondly, after that dispatch, no one ever heard from him again.

Over sixty years later, archeologist Gavin Beechman uncovers the entrance to an unknown burial crypt high above the Valley of the Kings. In the deepest chamber, Gavin makes a discovery that electrifies the archeological community, the body of Sir Lyle. What he does not find are any artifacts, critically important clues to the nature of the tomb. He feels compelled to track them down, a hunt that will take him on a journey from Egypt to the quiet, country lanes of the United Kingdom.

Internationally known television correspondent Elizabeth Colino is confident the startling findings in the Middle East will provide the basis of an award-winning story, but is anxious about interviewing the man whose heart she broke. Following a news conference, Gavin refuses to share any information with Liz so she heads out on her own to fill in the details. She has the enormous resources of her network to back her up, but little expertise in the field of antiquities.

Will Gavin and Liz remain on opposite sides of the search? Who will uncover the truth first, and what will it tell them about Sir Lyle’s death?

SIR LYLE’S DIG will take the reader through Liz and Gavin’s emotional turmoil as they search for something that may never have existed and experience the apprehension of rediscovering what once did.

  10. The poets sang of heroes.

Ballad composers used a straightforward language in their verse to tell memorable stories of legend, history, heroes, and trolls. In translating these old Scandinavian ballads into English verse, I have sought to reflect this timeless language.

Read these ballads aloud and relive long gone times in the northern forests or fells.

  13. Hi Jo~

Thanks for letting me tell you about my debut novel, The Heart Thief, a paranormal urban fantasy for young adults. I've been a writer all my life but could never get it together enough to complete a full-length novel. But when my mother passed away in 2011, I was able to channel my grief into something useful. This book.

Loss and grief are major themes in The Heart Thief, an eerie adventure tale set in Rhapp's Barren, also known as The Creep by those who live there. So named because of its reputation for unexplained occurrences. But the residents of this urban district are about to learn its dark legacy runs deeper than they could possibly imagine.

I love the world I've built in The Heart Thief and the cast of characters I've created as well. It really is an ensemble, so to speak, and I believe there's a character for everyone to relate to. It's an epic adventure full of action and suspense, and I'm confident you will enjoy it.

Thank you for your consideration, Jo.

  14. Moonlight is a book you can judge by its cover: what you see is pretty much what you get. Two kids kissing under a full moon (and a mysterious little cat in the shadows). It's hard to believe a middle-aged man could be soft-centred enough to write this! If you need some sweetness in your life, this is it, but I have to tell you it's like dark chocolate rather than marshmallow; there's sadness too. Have a box of tissues handy, just in case. You know how they say a book will make you laugh, and cry, and cry out loud? This one probably won't. It'll probably make you teary-eyed, and and make you cry, and maybe even weep for joy. Now, how can you resist an offer like this?
