Congratulations to A.B. Funkhauser! Your book has been tweeted, shared on Pinterest, added to my added to my Goodreads TBR for the event, and shared on Facebook.

PITCH your book in the comments. Put your LINK in the Rafflecopter entry form. Tell me why you think I'll like it, why I should check it out, and a little about the story. DO NOT give me a synopsis. I can get that from Amazon. Make it personal or make it funny. I care not. I'll be grabbing a sample of every book pitched and go from there.

IF YOU'RE NOT IN THE LIST ABOVE, YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG. Either you didn't pitch your book in the comments, or you left the link out of the Rafflecopter. BOTH must be done for you to appear in the list. WHY? Because this is also about meeting and getting to know other authors, NOT just about getting a review or purchase for your book.

There's your friendly PSA for today :)

Please specify if you're entering as an author, a reader, or both. Author only entries will be removed before a winner is chosen.

IF you have a pre-order, please upload a SAMPLE to Google Drive and give people with the link permission to view. Put that link in the Rafflecopter form.

I strongly encourage you to check out the works of your fellow Indie authors. Chat in the comments, talk each other up, make friends!

Book reviewers! You're welcome to play along, too! Meet and greet authors. Get new books to read and review. It only works if we all work together.

**Kindly remember, there's no guarantee your book will be reviewed by me. You will get a purchase if your sample interests me, and I'll try my best to read it. But if I find I can't give it more than 2 stars, I won't write the review. I've had a few I couldn't finish and it led to me not giving a review.**

Now it's time to announce the winners from yesterday's giveaway!

  4. Hey Jo,

I believe I read that we are allowed to pitch more than one book so thought I'd toss this one into the ring as well.

THE TEMPLE OF INDRA’S JEWEL was my debut novel and the first in a series of four. It is centered on the adventures/misadventures of Sophia Marcil, an unlucky-in-love librarian who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1857, where she is caught up in a plot for the throne. A modern day woman in the body of an 18th century princess, she believes she’s been cast in an elaborate dinner theatre, but as she’s pursued by suitors both odious and dreamy, she begins to investigate and unearths the truth. Her family’s heirloom has cursed her and tied her to a dangerous man, one who would stalk her in every life and do anything to possess her stone’s magic, including murder. Perhaps being a princess is not all fun and games.

    1. I LOVED this book. Intrepid librarian Sophia Marcil is brainy and fearless. She is also a true red-blooded heroine who sometimes follows her heart to dangerous places. I love her for her weaknesses, strengths and unflinching commitment to truth.

    2. Thank you A.B! I'm revising it right now for re-release through my current publisher and I have to say I'm falling in love with the story and the characters all over again. I originally wrote it ten years ago and self-published it in 2013 but after completing three additional books I noticed my writing had moved on. Needless to say, it irritated me that my series didn’t completely flow in terms of style. So after speaking with the editor-in-chief at Solstice Publishing, I made the decision to rewrite The Temple of Indra's Jewel. I blame the perfectionist within me. The rewrite is about style and I'm being careful not to change the story. I know it wouldn’t be fair to my fans that fell in love the story. I just want to make everyone love the way I'm telling it.

  6. I agree. It's been fun and very rewarding to think of new ways to pitch my books. So here's my last attempt to pull you into my world of spirited time travel and harrowing investigations.

Time-traveling librarian Sophia Marcil is going to be murdered unless her love for books can save her—or rather one book in particular—The Book of Rochus.
It's been one year since Sophia last fell through time and her troublesome trinket has found her once more, this time in the form of an engagement ring. As usual it’s pulled her into a past life and placed her in terrible danger, the home of her nemesis circa 1920. Determined to change history and her fate, she attempts a spell from the five-hundred-year-old book given to her by a shopkeeper in London, but she unwittingly deepens her connection to her killer.
Sophia returns to the present and for her own safety goes to stay with Cullen's relative on the family estate, a property that has been passed down for generations. While there, she discovers a gravestone which makes her wonder if a murderer’s blood runs in her fiancee's veins. Desperate to uncover the truth, she searches for answers but doesn't like what she uncovers. In every life, her killer has been revealed as someone close to her and now she’s beginning to wonder if she’s being duped once again.

    Cheers!

    Rae

  7. I was out for most of the event with a rotten migraine and vertigo. Yuck! Whenever I was able to poke my head in, I was excited to see all of the goings on. I can't wait to get reading some of these after the holidays. Thank you to Jo for this awesome event, to Tia Silverthorne Bach for the books I won (yay!!), to all who donated prizes, to the authors who pitched, the readers and reviewers and everyone who participated to make it so fun. Happy Holidays! ~ Karla
