12 Days of Review Requests 2015 - Final List of Winners and Books Pitched

You guys. Seriously. I'm exhausted but so thrilled at the turnout from this event. Not only did I have a ton of awesome samples to read and books bought, but I also saw the friendships being made in the comments. Everyone chatting it up, wishing one another luck, and thanking the amazing authors that donated to the event makes my heart full. THAT is what makes this event what it is. Stay in touch with one another, please.

Here's the way the end goes:
I'm going to list all the winners from the books pitched this year first (including the last one). That will be added to my TBR for 2016. Then, you'll see the books that won last year (and the links to the reviews I managed to write). After that, I'll announce the winner of the grand prize giveaway that ran over the duration of the event and the daily giveaway that ran over the weekend. At the bottom, you'll get the final list of all the amazing books pitched this year.

I really wanted to buy and read them all, but I promised myself I would stick to twelve, and that's what I did.

Please note: Winners from last year's event will be read before I start on the ones from this year. If your book won last year and isn't on this list, I wasn't able to finish it. While your sample intrigued me, something about the book made me stop reading. If you'd like to know what it was, feel free to send me a message.

Comment moderation will be turned back on tomorrow morning.

Ready? Let's get going!

There are SO many awesome books up there. I did end up throwing the final list in a hat and choosing one at random. I urge you to check them out and grab something new to read over the holidays. Just because I didn't choose it, doesn't mean one of the many readers and reviews I invited to attend the event didn't pick it up.

To all the authors who pitched: Thank you for introducing me to your work. I wish I could buy, read, and review them all.

To all the readers who lurked and snagged books this go round: Thank you for coming to the event! It wouldn't be worth it if it weren't for all of you. Thank you for entering the giveaways and supporting Indie authors everywhere with your reviews.

I'm taking time off after tomorrow's post. My sons are here for the holidays, and I have a book I need to finish writing. Plus, it's time to re-evaluate my goals and set new ones for 2016. There will probably be changes coming!

Thank you all so much for the support you give my little corner of the blogosphere. I hope my blog has helped you in some way.

Well, that's all for today, folks! Until next time, WRITE ON!

Jo
